In 2015, Christy received a grant from the South Carolina Arts Commission to begin her Folk Art Garden. She has always been influenced by alternative creative environments and wanted to create on around her studio. Combining her background of architecture and her art she has created the SHE garden. In her corner of the world it produces everything that can make you happy.
The jewel in the garden is her bottle House. It is located in the center of her garden that is surrounded by a painted pallet picket fence. She uses discarded materials on items and places them among her plants. You can enjoy the produce of the season as well as all the different flowers that seem to love Christy's yard.
Come take a stroll through the garden. You may have to pet and play with one of the residents cats but please enjoy her wonderful creations.
